In 1920, after World War 1, he renamed the store as V- Dollar Limit to show the customers that the cost of the items is 5 dollars.

Later, he opened more stores in different places even after facing a lot of problems during the land boom. After the land boom, the business fell and he was unable to pay his debts back and therefore sold his store to the bank.

Finally, he saved more money to repurchase his store back from the bank.

Despite facing a lot of difficulties, the store remained constant and today it is one of the famous retail stores that sell jewelry, apparel, footwear, housewares, etc.
